This purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with full length recombinant human VEGF-165 protein.

This antibody will recognize both native and recombinant human VEGF-165 in cell supernatants and certain body fluids. A control of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.

This protein-A purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately 22 kD in size corresponding to monomeric human VEGF-165 protein by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Lyophilized from 10 mg/mL BSA (Protease and Ig free), 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, pH 7.2, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.01% Gentamicin. Do NOT add Sodium Azide

Reconstitute in 100 µL of deionized water.

Short term: store at 4°C. Long term: aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
