Specifications

Description
Fractalkine (CX3CL1) is a chemokine with a unique CX3C motif. Fractalkine is synthesized in endothelial cells as a membrane protein, and the N-terminal domain containing a CX3C motif is cleaved and secreted. Fractalkine is the first described cell-surface anchored chemokine and has potent mononuclear cell-directed adhesion and chemotactic properties. Fractalkine is involved in the pathogenesis of various chronic inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and atherosclerosis. References: The UniProt Consortium. Usage
ELISA: To detect hFractalkine by sandwich ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2 ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human Fractalkine (LS-C104345) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hFractalkine. Western Blot: To detect hFractalkine by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hFractalkine is 1.5-3 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
